Why We Exist

Crossroads Wellness was founded with a simple but powerful belief: people in Munfordville and Hart County, Kentucky deserve access to high-quality, compassionate mental health care — without having to travel hours or feel like just another appointment on a crowded schedule.
We named our practice Crossroads Wellness because we believe that seeking help is a turning point — a moment of courage that deserves to be met with warmth, expertise, and a genuine plan for healing.

Meet Your Provider
Kimberly Gambino
DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC · Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Born and raised in rural Hart County, Kentucky, Kimberly Gambino brings more than 30 years of nursing experience to her work at Crossroads Wellness. Her career has spanned some of the most demanding and meaningful areas of healthcare — critical care, hospice, primary care, addiction medicine, and behavioral health — giving her a uniquely broad and compassionate perspective on the human experience.
Kimberly earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Western Kentucky University and later completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Bellarmine University. She holds dual board certifications as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) — a combination that allows her to treat the whole person, addressing physical and mental health with equal depth and expertise.
Throughout her career, she has worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, chronic stress, and treatment-resistant mental health conditions. She brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to patients who have not found relief through traditional approaches.
Kimberly is currently pursuing advanced training in functional and integrative medicine — going beyond symptom management to uncover root causes and support long-term, whole-person healing. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and cared for in a calm and supportive environment. For patients who desire it, she is also happy to incorporate Christian faith and values into the care experience.
